New Asecob vice presidents elected

Asecob

On January 12 were unanimously elected vice presidents of the Spanish Association of Shipbrokers (ASECOB), Alfonso de Riva (Ership Group) and Ramiro Cobo (Pérez y Cía).

We held the first meeting of the new Executive Committee under the chairmanship of Julio Carrasco (P&J Carrasco), re-elected at the General Assembly of November 16, 2022, and of which we are part through our General Secretary Elena Vicente Stone.

At the start of the Committee, President Julio Carrasco had some emotional words of remembrance for the recently deceased associates Romualdo Alvargonzález and Andreu Gómez. Subsequently, the election of the Vice Presidents of the entity took place, with the responsibility falling by unanimous decision on Ramiro Cobo (Pérez y Cía.) and Alfonso de Riva (Ership).

During the course of the Committee, the activities carried out during the past year were reviewed, as well as the projects that we expect to materialize in 2023, highlighting among them, the regulatory reforms or the publication in the BOE of the Professional Qualification of Ship Consignees. In addition, both the accounting closing of 2022 and the 2023 budget were presented, which will be transferred to the associates for ratification at the Assembly, and the current situation with respect to port services.

Therefore, ASECOB already has a new Executive Committee for the period 2023-2027 composed by: Julio Carrasco (President), Alfonso de Riva and Ramiro Cobo (Vice Presidents) and the Members: Paula Casais (ANV), Elena Vicente (ASOCELPA), Montserrat Royo (Bergé), Jordi Trius (Marmedsa), Alex Ferrándiz (ACVB), José María Salt (ACEP Castellón), Luis del Moral (Rubine e Hijos), Ronald Twigt (Erhardt), Cristóbal Zaragoza (Baleària), Ignacio Gomá (Transcoma), Ignacio López-Bachiller (Grupo Nogar) and Arturo Fernández (Suardíaz).
